When is the last time you sat down and wrote someone a handwritten letter? Probably been a while. With today’s modern marvels we can send out communications with little to no effort. While these advancements have made life easier, it’s come at an expense. They say after you’ve interviewed for a job to hand write the person a thank you note- not send an email. The reason? To make an impact on the person and show them you genuinely care. That’s a statement.
Today, I challenge you to take the time to write someone in your life. Maybe it’s an old friend you haven’t talked to in a while- share a memory, tell an old story. Maybe a mentor who made a positive impact on your career- tell them thanks for the guidance. Or a loved one to remind them just how much they mean to you.
Take the time, sit down and write. Make a statement.
